The Brief
International Development Bank Limited is an emerging development bank in Nepal. The Bank has been able to perform significantly stable even in the difficult financial scenario of the country. It become unique in branding exercise as well taking a very vibrant colour theme of cyan and magenta. TheSquare team had a brief meeting with corporate affair department of bank regarding their annual calendar publication. Their creative approach towards financial management, customer care and future plans were the focus keywords on their overall performance. They dared to think differently and wanted to present themselves as creative banker.
The Solution
As we always do, we came to sit together with our client servicing and creative team in order to generate a peculiar powerful idea. Then, suddenly we agreed to portray the year itself as a creative banking year. Afterward, we did some sample page layout, and prepared presentation for both wall and desk calendar so that it could become a communication tool for variation of customers. We discussed the idea with K. K. Karmacharya – Senior Artist and Member Secretary of Nepal Fine Arts Academy, other senior sculptors of Nepali art fraternity and our prime photographer Mr. Raj Bhai Suwal. Finally we were ready to present with whole effort to the benefit of bank’s total corporate outfit. After the presentation, CEO and top management team agreed with an idea of presenting a theme “The Year Dedicated for Creative Banking”. After a weeks long hard work, we were able to design and develop this beautiful, inspirational corporate desk calendar for the bank.
